Supporting rescues
Most sighthound rescue organisations are run on a small scale and rely upon volunteers. There are numerous ways that you can get involved to directly and indirectly help with the rescue rehabilitation and rehoming of sighthounds. Fostering, homechecking and transporting are all excellent ways to get involved and support sighthounds. All the articles are written by people who have experience of the roles.
Please note that each organisation may ask people to perform slighting different tasks than described above depending on their individual policies and procedures, but organisations will be able to provide more specific advice and information for you.
