Trustees

FinHere you will find information on the trustees of the charity, together with important publications relating to the charity.  The trustees have responsibility for the financial and strategic oversight of the charity and its operations.

Wendy Hassell, Chair

Wendy has been a trustee of Sighthound Welfare Trust since its inception, serving as Chair, having previously been trustee of another sighthound welfare charity.  She has experience in local government administration and has served as a parent governor for a local primary school.  Since welcoming her first hound into her home in 2002 Wendy became interested in sighthound welfare, and has supported a number of sighthound welfare organisations in a variety of roles.

Daniel Hassell, Treasurer

Daniel is currently Trustee of Sighound Welfare Trust and has been a trustee since July 2008.  Prior to this he served as Secretary to the Trustees from the charity's inception in November 2005.  In this role he was responsible for advising and supporting the work of the trustees.  Daniel is currently studying Social Policy at the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE).
